Shaking table is one of the widely used Gravity Separation Equipment. Shaker separation is high, the concentration ratio of the concentrate is very high. During the operation of the shaker, mineral separation is achieved by the combination of bed surface and transverse flow. In order to reduce failures and improve sorting efficiency, operators need to seriously understand the operation skills of the shaker, and maintenance.

First, shaking table operation skills

In the operation of the shaker, it is necessary to carefully observe the partition of the shaker surface and control the appropriate vertical and transverse slope of the bed surface. In addition, it is also necessary to consider the feeding size, feeding amount, feeding concentration, washing water, stroke and other factors in the separation process. 1, shaker bed surface partition

The bed surface is divided into fine area, middle area, tailing area and slime area. Under normal conditions, the width of the slime area is 0.9 ~ 1.4m. The ore flow in the tailing area should be stable without rapids or furrows, and the thickness of the ore layer should be suitable and covered by water. Tail mine can be controlled by adjusting feed concentration and feed trough sand hole. Middling area is the interval of middling area, which is controlled mainly by adjusting flushing water and transverse slope. The concentration area requires obvious zoning of various specific gravity minerals, and a stable and obvious boundary between the concentration area and the primary selection area should be formed. This area is controlled by adjusting the flushing water and the transverse slope.

2. Horizontal and longitudinal slope of the bed surface of the shaker

In the installation of equipment, determine the longitudinal slope, coarse sand area in the longitudinal tilt of 1° ~ 2°, fine sand area 0.5° ~ 1.0°, slime area basically no slope. The bed surface is 1.5°~5° laterally inclined from feeding end to opposite side. In the actual operation of the shaker, it is necessary to accurately control the longitudinal and transverse slope of the shaker surface. In general, if the mineral particles are coarse, the lateral slope of the shaker surface should be appropriately raised. On the contrary, if the mineral particles are fine, it is necessary to lower the horizontal slope of the bed. In general, the transverse slope range of coarse sand area, fine sand area and slime area is 2.5° ~ 4.5°, 1.5° ~ 3.5° and 1° ~ 2° respectively.

3, ore size

The ore size should be appropriate. The upper limit of feeding particle size is 2~3mm, and the lower limit is 0.037mm. Generally, after pre-classification to ensure the uniformity of particle size at all levels, in order to ensure the uniformity of particle size at all levels of shaking table, and the feeding particle size in the suitable range, it is necessary to observe the ore belt concentrate and panning to check tailings.

4. Ore feeding quantity

The size of ore feeding is related to the thickness of the feeding granularity. If the ore grain is coarse, the amount of ore feeding is larger; But if the ore feed is too large, it will cause zoning problems, in this case, it is necessary to move the concentrate interception plate, increase the flushing water and the lateral slope of the shaker bed surface. It should be noted that once the exact amount of ore feeding is found, the feeding process should be continuous and uniform.

5. Ore feeding concentration

In the process of separation, it is necessary to ensure the appropriate concentration of ore feeding. Generally, the feeding concentration of coarse and fine mineral is 20% ~ 30% and 15%~25% respectively. When the surface of the shaker is pulled ditch problem, the concentration of ore can be appropriately increased to adjust; On the contrary, if there is a sand pile, at this time it is necessary to reduce the concentration of ore. The concentration of ore feed can be controlled by adjusting the amount of ore feed.

6. Rinse water

Flushing water includes ore water and washing water. In the operation of the shaker, when the concentrate zone becomes narrow, there is a concentrate running into the middling, the need to reduce the washing water; On the contrary, if the surface of the shaker shows anhydrous film, it is necessary to increase the washing water. When controlling the flushing water, the pulp velocity and the width of concentrate zone should be carefully observed.

7. Stroke and stroke

The stroke and stroke time are mainly affected by the grain size of mineral, the load of shaker and the density of ore. Select coarse grain, thick bed material, should use large stroke, small impact; On the contrary, it is necessary to use small stroke, large stroke. When failure occurs, it is necessary to check whether the stroke times are appropriate. If there is any abnormality, it is necessary to adjust in time.

Two, shaker maintenance points

1, need to regularly check the parts is good enough, mainly including the bed surface of the shaker, the head of the bed and the frame. First of all, we need to check whether the surface of the shaker is in contact with non-shaking parts and the tilt of the surface of the bed. If the surface of the shaker is found to be damaged, resin packing wear-resisting agent can be prepared to repair it.

2, check the wear of the head of the bed parts, when it is found that the wear of the parts is very serious, it needs to be replaced in time.

3. Check whether the screw is loose, the position of the pull rod, whether the spring is damaged, and whether the sliding surface of the shaker is good. If any abnormal sound occurs, locate and eliminate it in time.

4. When the storage box is shaken, special attention should be paid to prevent the surface of the shaker from deformation. It is not allowed to be exposed to the sun and rain, causing humidity.

5. When stopping the car, in order to avoid impurities from oxidizing and scaling, it is necessary to wash the surface of the shaker with water. If scaling occurs, remove it in time.
